Sarah Palin Becomes a Granny

Alaskan governor Sarah Palin became a granny on Sunday. The former vice-presidential candidate wowed the nation with the shocking news that her teenaged daughter was pregnant during the McCain/Palin campaign. Of course Palin’s credibility as a staunch conservative came under fire and possibly jeopardized the already flailing campaign. According to People magazine, Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston was born on Sunday weighing seven pounds, four ounces.
Levi Johnston, the father of the child, dropped out of high school to become an electrician. Soon after the couple announced their pregnancy, they also announced plans to wed. Not straying far from controversy, Sherry Johnston (Levi’s mother) was recently hit with drug charges. Currently, she is allegedly charged with possession with intent to distribute Oxy Contin.
