The whole internet is buzzing. Yes, Kelly Osbourne, 24-year-old daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne, checked herself into a medical facility. "Kelly Osbourne has voluntarily entered a medical facility to address some personal issues," spokeswoman Caroline Barrett said in a statement e-mailed to CNN. "Her family stands by and supports her."
Mother Sharon Osbourne opened up to RadarOnline.com saying, "Yeah, Kelly's in rehab. What else can we say? She knew that it was the right thing to do at this point and we're proud that she did it. The family is all standing behind her. Kelly knew that she needed help and she's getting it.” She went on to say, "This is one of the absolute worst things that a parent can face, for their child to go through rehab. And not once, but twice. However, we are all very glad Kelly's doing it.”
In 2004, Kelly dealt with similar issues. Ozzy Osbourne told Larry King, “We just had to take evasive action very quickly, because the amount of pills that was found in her bag was astounding."
Once the public felt Kelly was finally on the right track, Osbourne told People Magazine in 2008: "I'm not going to say I'm clean living, because I still drink and I've definitely had my moments. It's not just moderation, it's knowing limitations on everything." Well, Kel. It looks as though "moderation" has put you back into rehab. Get well!
