Jacko Cancels Very Strange Auction

The eccentric King of Pop, Michael Jackson, recently planned to auction curious personal items and memorabilia from his Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara County, California. Jackson put an axe to the whole auction idea even though his items were on display at Silverware's Museum of Style Icons and remain on display until the 25th of April.
It took Julien’s Auctions staff over three months to clear out over 1,000 items from Jackson’s home. What’s most shocking is the peculiar nature of the items taken. For example, a gigantic five-foot tall statue of Geppetto holding Pinnochio, Edward Scissorhand’s claws, and various works of art which depicts small boys (two boys on a swing bar, two boys sitting on a sunflower, bronze boy carrying a fruit basket etc.) Also included is an item described as a “child’s upper body mannequin” times two. The list of these items can be found at juliansauctions.com.
Amongst the child paraphernalia are some items that are kind of neat, like Jackson’s crystal-studded glove worn in the video Billie Jean and the iconic iron Neverland Gates. Neverland was sold last year. Jackson left the ranch after being acquitted for child molestation in 2005. Michael now spends most of his time in Bahrain and says that he never authorized the auctioning of these items.
