Irvin’s Shameless Carjacking Plug

Supposedly, while on his way to the gym, former Dallas Cowboys wide-receiver Michael Irvin escaped being carjacked. While Irvin was at a red light, a man in the car next to him pulled out a semi-automatic weapon and pointed it at the famous Hall of Famer. “The passenger pulled out a semi-automatic and I knew what time it was,” Irvin told the Dallas Morning News.
In another interview Irvin replayed his carjacking experience. "I'm thinking this must be somebody I know, so I let my passenger window down. I said, 'Hey, what's up, man?' Guy in the other car pointed a gun.. and then he recognized me and he pulled it back and said, 'Hey, Michael Irvin, what's up, man?' and he started talking about how much of a Cowboy fan he is and at the time, I realized what happened. I didn't even mention it, because I didn't want him to finish the job."
After the attempted carjacking, Irvin and carjacker went their separate ways. “I did not file a police report. I didn't want to make much of a story out of it outside of sharing it on the radio." "I was happy that nothing happened to me, but then that changed and I started worrying about.. I hope they don't do that to someone else." Well….thanks for your concern Michael?!?
