Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton plans to marry fiancé Mark Mezvinsky in a possible summer ceremony. The couple met when they were teens living in Washington. Currently, Mezvinsky works for Goldman Sachs (a global investment banking and securities firm) and Clinton is a graduate student at Columbia University’s School of Public Health. Both attended the University of Stanford together.
The details of the wedding have been rather hush-hush. Father Bill Clinton enlightened Ryan Seacrest on his participation in the wedding plans: “I'm just supposed to walk her down the aisle and pay the bills," he said. He also told Seacrest he likes and admires his future son-in-law and couldn’t be happier about the marriage.
The Clintons as well as the Mezvinskys have had their share of public scrutiny. Mark’s Father Ed Mezvinsky (former Iowa congressmen) was recently released from a halfway house for investment fraud, whereas Bill, is forever notorious for his own kind of fraud. Ed owes a shocking $9.4 million in restitution to associates, friends and even family members. Have you ever received email-scam-spam from Nigeria asking for money? Well, Mezvinsky was behind a couple of those internet hoaxes.
Parents aside, the young pair make a cute couple. Rumors surrounding the location of the wedding range from Martha’s Vineyard to Hilton Head.
