Instead of selling out like many celebrities in recent years, Ashlee and Pete Wentz introduced the first picture of newborn Bronx Mowgli on FriendsOrEnemies.com. The newly weds could have sold the first public pictures to various publications, but decided to share the pictures online for free. “We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz. We couldn’t be happier.” Below the picture are several websites the couple supports in hopes that viewers will find a charitable inclination in their hearts to donate. After a small May wedding at the Simpson family’s LA estate, Bronx was born on November 20th.
Of course the name of the adorable boy raised eyebrows, but in Hollywood’s world of celebrity crazy-names “Bronx” fits right in. Other names that make us go “hum” is The Edge’s child Blue Angel, Kidman’s Sunday Rose, Stallone’s Stage Moon Blood and Penn Jilette’s Moxie Crimefighter. Now doesn’t that make the name Bronx Mowgli sound normal? Maybe, maybe not.
